Project Summary
The Preserve Sewer Improvement project consists of a 5 MGD sewer lift station that was installed 55-foot-deep, within the existing water table, including a concrete wet well, shoring, mechanical piping, electrical, instrumentation, de-watering, and SCADA integration. It also included gravity sewer and force main sewer line that includes 7,435 linear feet of dual 16’’ sewer force main, 13,600 linear feet of varying sized sewer pipe ranging from 8” to 20’’ in size, and 838 linear feet of 28” continuous Jack and bore steel pipe casing, to protect a wetland habitat. A large portion of the sewer line required dewatering as well, and the project also had various street improvements that had to be completed in this project.
The Preserve Sewer Improvement Project will serve the Preserve Specific Plan, an area that consists of 5,435 acres of future mixed use residential, and commercial development in the City of Chino California.
