Cow Camp Road Bridge

Project Summary

The scope of work consisted of, construction of a 1400-ft long cast-in-place concrete box girder bridge; installation of various storm drain systems including 160 LF of 102” jack and bore pipe, and a large concrete energy dissipater. Construction of cast-in-place vertical man holes, procurement and placement of 18-inch, 24-inch, 36-inch & 48-inch reinforced concrete pipes; clearing and grubbing; rock slope protection; and earthwork, such as an access road, excavation, structural backfill and backfill; placement of fencing, grading and paving of asphalt roads with ac dikes, and doing other work appurtenant thereto. Utility coordination was performed with AT&T, Cox Communications, San Diego Gas & Electric, and So Cal Gas. All work was performed within an Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) and in accordance with the project Storm Water Pollution Permit requirements.
